OUR IMPACT
As owners of FUNZA we have a responsibility to carefully consider every step of the process, from design concept to the final product arriving at your door step. Tackling climate change and thinking about our own ability to reduce our Carbon footprint is something we take very seriously. Designed and handmade in Australia, we work closely with our supply chains in Australia, China and Canada to source premium high quality materials to create long lasting wardrobe staples.
This is only the beginning of our journey and we by no means have it perfectly down pat, but we decided we wanted to make this an important part of our brand and to provide transparency for you. We personally like to educate ourselves as much as possible before choosing to invest our money in a product or company, so this information is for those of you who want to know all of that too.
Buy less, choose carefully and shop consciously.

Marketing Material
We work with Canva to create and print all of our marketing materials. Canva’s Australian operations have been carbon neutral since 2020. As of 2021, their entire global operations, including print and subsidiaries, are also carbon neutral. They’ve now entered the Beyond Net Zero phase, where they are focusing on regeneration, building their impact and healing the planet. All of our printed marketing materials can be recycled via your curbside recycling bin.
Packaging
Our custom branded Jewellery boxes are made from FSC®-certified cardboard and water-based glue and are 70% Recyclable. We recommend storing all your FUNZA pieces in these boxes for safe keeping and protection of your jewellery. However when no longer needed please dispose of them by separating the ribbon pull and sponge insert from the box. Dispose of the box in your curbside recycling bin and the ribbon pull and sponge insert into your curbside garbage bin. We are working towards 100% Recyclable packaging.
FUNZA orders are shipped in a variety of different mailing bags and boxes, depending on the size of your order.
Small-sized orders are shipped in reusable, recyclable and compostable cardboard mailers made from 100% recycled materials. Medium-sized orders are shipped in boxes made from 100% recycled cardboard, secured with recyclable packaging tape.
Responsible Shipping
For all Australian orders we use Australia Post who offset their carbon emissions, making our shipping 100% carbon neutral.
We want our FUNZA pieces to last you a lifetime and we’ve done everything to produce the most high quality, thoughtfully designed pieces we can—but sometimes things go wrong. If they do, we’d love to help where we can.
If you've cared for your item correctly, and it still hasn’t held up to your life’s requirements, you can send it back to us for free repairs. If you’d prefer to make the repair yourself, we can send you the appropriate supplies. You're buying something that's made to last and we want you to be happy and to love using your Funza pieces as much as possible, for as long as possible.
